Our Story
It all went down at an unassuming dinner party one night in Liz’s recently adopted city, San Francisco.
After arriving at the restaurant, the only open seat at a table of 10 new friends was coincidently across from David – another former Floridian. The conversation that started with a mutual love for ‘dad’ music and the shared heartache over missing Publix subs carried on. When all the pizza and wine were consumed, dinner was over but the conversation wasn’t.. the rest is history.
David and Liz happily reside in Noe Valley, San Francisco. David works in Finance and Liz is in Marketing at a Medical Tech company. David proposed to a very surprised Liz on Monastery Beach in Carmel-by-the-Sea, an area that holds a special place in their hearts, on April 22, 2017. They are elated to share the West Coast magic of Carmel Valley with their friends, family and loved ones.

Explore
Drive the PCH! The Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1) runs from San Francisco to Los Angeles and is considered one of the most scenic drives in the world. It is the best way to travel to Carmel Valley while experiencing all that California has to offer – stunning coastal views, old growth redwood groves, seaside villages, untouched forests, and incredible vineyards.
For the explorers among us, we recommend starting your journey in San Francisco. Continue south on Highway 1 en route to Carmel Valley but don’t miss 17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach, a fantastic way to see one of the most beautiful parts of the peninsula. Just south of Carmel Valley, you MUST visit Big Sur where the mountains, forest and ocean collide!
Big Sur
The gem of the California Coast, Big Sur is where the magic all started for us! The lack of cell phone service, laid back vibe, and breathtaking vistas make it our favorite escape. Be sure to stop for fantastic photo opportunities along the Big Sur Coastline, Bixby Creek Bridge, McWay Falls, and wander in the redwood forest of Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. Walk the beach and see shades of purple sand at Pfeiffer Beach. Take in the views on the deck at Nepenthe. Dine at Post Ranch Inn or sleep under the stars in Limekiln State Park.
Point Lobos State Reserve
A short drive from Carmel, Point Lobo State Reserve provides a glimpse into the serenity of the Northern California coastline. Walk a short distance from the parking lot to the emerald colored water of China Cove or walk further to the rock bluff surrounded Gibson Beach.
Carmel
The Carmel coastline has some of the most beautiful views in all of California. The area is divided into two parts: Carmel-By-The-Sea and Carmel Valley, further inland. In Carmel By The Sea, browse the quirky galleries and shops on Main Street or feel the light breeze on the white sanded Carmel State Beach. We will keep you plenty busy in Carmel Valley – just you wait!
The picturesque seaside town of Monterey, laid back beach town of Santa Cruz, and Moss Landing are all within an hours’ drive of Carmel.
